MINDFULNESS AND MOVEMENT

8 WEEK PROGRAM

MONDAY

1 hour

6:00 PM

REGENERATE - this head to toe class leaves nothing behind except maybe the stress pinched behind your neck...maybe we can let go of that

Regeneration is the natural process of restoring damaged cells, tissues, organs and even entire body parts to full function.  This class will stay low to ground and focus on postures where you can stretch comfortably with enough time in each position to experience a slow release of tension.  We will build breath awareness and mind body connection which will help in all areas of your life including emotional regulation and concentration.

This class resembles a Yin Yoga class.  Its great to integrate into any training regiment and sport including desk jockeys.  Suitable for all bodies. 

WEDNESDAY

1 hour

6:00 PM

MOBILITY AND STABILITY - building from the core outwards, this strength building class will help with posture, confidence and alignment.

Each class will contain a familiar structure beginning with grounding and orientation exercises to improve proprioception and body awareness.  The bulk of the class is focused on balancing, coordination and stamina building exercises delivered with an upbeat attitude.  Each class will end with a relaxation exercise to celebrate your hard work. 

This class is for folks interested in building strength, adding creative exercises to your tool belt and developing on a pre-existing exercise regiment.  Expect to work at a quick pace but with opportunity for modification as needed.  Please make the instructor aware of any injuries at the beginning of class.

INSPIRING - expect an inspiring flow, good music and great company

This class is all about making movement something that you look forward to showing up for!  This class is a blend of fiery exercises to get the heart beating and igniting your vitality  balanced with cool, relaxing stretches intended to calm the mind and ease irritation in the body. Expect to hear a story at the start of each class to inspire your movement and rest. This class is ideal to attend with a friend or loved one.  Suitable for all bodies and skill levels.
